Yep, the truck is dead. DEAD. Very dead.
The Toyota people told Mom that the engine had siezed up, and that it can't be fixed, only replaced. So, our options are to either pay $3600 to replace the engine with a slightly newer one so that the truck at least runs. Or, donate the truck to a scrapyard and get the new FJ Cruiser that we wanted to get very soon anyway. Hmmm... Whatever shall we do?
