More Apartment Fun....

Jenny left for work this morning expecting the front entrance to be blocked, and headed out the back entrance to Mansfield - which was completely closed! The entire street! So, worried she might not be able to leave the complex, she turns around and heads for the front entrance, which was still open. In fact it still is open, as of 2 hours ago when we ran to get Subway for dinner. Not sure if the paving people are just running behind schedule and the apartment people just expected them to be working on the front entrance. But It'll be nice when it's all over and we won't have to play Guess Which Entrance is Open.

I'm still shuffling stuff around the apartment and I always forget exactly how many comics we have until I have to move all the boxes. Twice. We really need to get rid of some of them (preferably half or so), but it's going to be tough parting with any of them. I've seen some examples online of people taking their individual issues and getting them professionally binded into books, which would be awesome, if we had the money to do something like that. We're also thinking of digitally archiving a bunch of them with the scanner so we could get rid of the physical copies. It would take a lot of time and effort, but atleast it would be free.

Also, it turns out all of the next door neighbors are indeed out. They were actually evicted - there's a notice from the sheriff's department stuck to the door barring them from entry and everything. I only hope we'll finally get some decent neighbors after this. Actually, the last ones before these weren't bad, but they were here less than a month before they up and left. Not that I really blame them....
