The Robert Picardo signing at local comic shop Merlyns was a lot of fun. They had a really good turn-out, a lot more than expected, and Mr. Picardo was really entertaining. He talked for about an hour or so, telling some stories about his acting experiences, taking questions from the audience, and even singing a bit!

We were there to sketch for people before he arrived, but we honestly didn't do much work. The crowd was definitely there to see him, though we did end up doing a few sketches before the day was over.

Here's a pic we got of Mr. Picardo with a few of us in the Comicsmiths' Guild:

The following Saturday the Guild were over in Coeur d'Alene at Lightning Comics, drawing for customers during their big Christmas sale event. We had a lot of fun, and it's always great to see so many young kids who are interested in comics. A few of us will be back over there next week, sketching for people on New Years Day.

And here are a few of my sketches I got photos of from the Christmas event:

We'll be heading over to Jenny's parents' place tomorrow morning for Christmas. Aunt Joan (who lives in Post Falls) and Uncle David (coming up from Kennewick) will both be there, and her mom will be making enchiladas for dinner. Should be a lot of fun. :)

Hopefully everyone's having a great holiday season, and we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a fun, safe New Years! Lastly, here's a pic of our Christmas tree, which is set up in the studio (since it's the only spot with enough room in the apartment...):
