Making amends

Well, well, well. Mr. Drunk and Disorderly just ran our doorbell, but it was to apologize! He admitted that he has a drinking problem, and he said that it won't happen again. I don't know if he's going to a program or what, but he seems so much more stable without the booze in him. I thanked him for his apology. He could hardly look me in the eye, but he did when he apologized, so that's good. So we'll see what happens with him and his wife and the landlord. He said he damaged the laundry room wall, so he'll have to pay for that. Peter and I always go to my parent's house to do laundry, so I hadn't seen the damage. As long as it's quiet around here at night, I'll be happy.
