So, Jenny's super-awesome-uber dream job she just got? Yeah, she lost it today. Nothing she did or could do to fix - she works for a small family run business, and their finances weren't quite what they thought they were. So when their accountant did the math, she got laid off...
We are... disappointed, to say the least. They (her now ex-employers) are really cool people, though: they're going to go ahead and pay her for next week anyway, even though she won't be going in, and they're looking for possible jobs for her and are going to write a glowing letter of recomendation. They were really upset about having to let her go, and there's always the possibility of her being able to come back if their business picks up. They're good people.
But for now, it's back to the job search.
